Howard L. Churchill

Mr. Churchill was born in Pasadena, California in 1950 and grew up in Southern California. He graduated of San Jose State University and spent a short time in the United States Air Force. Graduating from law school in 1978, he was admitted to the bar in 1978 and landed his first job with the Insurance Company of North America were he became fluent in handling and evaluating personal injury and product liability claims. He has serious bodily injury claims experience and is fluent with how insurance companies process and evaluate claims. He was transferred to Walnut Creek, CA were he took a position as Assistant Claims Manager where he continued to handle personal injury and general liability claim from the Insurance side. He then moved on with his career and became and equity partner in a Walnut Creek law firm where he continued to handle general civil matters including real estate issues, agents and brokers liability claims, legal malpractice claims, construction claims and family law matters for the next two decades. He continued to gain civil experience including trial experience in both state and Federal Court. Mr. Churchill has tried over 30 civil jury trials in his career and numerous bench trials. He has trial experience and appellate experience in both family law and general civil cases.
Mr. Churchill is admitted to the State Bar of California and is a member of the Litigation section. He is admitted to The United States District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California, the United States Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit, The United States Tax Court in Washington D.C. and the United States Supreme Court.
