Profile: Katherine Conard Manuel

Photo of KathyManaging Attorney Katherine Conard Manuel originally hails from New Jersey. In 1997 she graduated from the University of Montana, where she majored in communications studies. Kathy graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington in 2000. There she had the distinction, with her law-school teammate, of being the first in Gonzaga’s history to win the Criminal Procedure Mock Trial Competition as a first-year student. As a third year law student she completed a legal internship at the Gonzaga University Legal Assistance Program, where she served under-privileged people. This early background of vigorous and successful advocacy continues to serve her well as a thoroughly trained and skillful representative of the firm’s clients.

Here at Berg and Associates, Kathy has the unique distinction of being Mr. Berg’s longest-running protegé–an invaluable commodity to the firm and a great resource to its clients. She has worked hand-in-hand with Mr. Berg since 2001 through many of the firm’s most difficult and important cases, including murder, sexual misconduct, drug possession and sales, serious violent felonies and other alleged serious criminal offenses. An effective courtroom advocate, she currently provides legal services to individuals in need of help in both criminal law and family law. Her family law experience includes: divorce, child custody and support, guardianship, and dependency actions. She brings knowledge, commitment and a genuine love of people to each of her cases. Kathy loves to win, knows how to win, and it shows. It is certainly our privilege to have her on the Berg and Associates team, and that privilege may be yours as well.
